      <content:encoded><![CDATA[we are selling the house down sizing and building a bigger shop.  that said we will be waiting out insane lumber prices.   that puts my took a loss last year knife making job into i will get a real gig for at least as long as it takes to build a new workshop.  cant see a new shop happening till at least next summer.  will hopefuly have a small shop set up with the most used tools as a stop gap but time will tell what kind of output i might have.  the market has not been kind th last few...<br />

He was going in for a small blood clot in his leg wensday but then found out he had leukemia and it was much farther along then anyone including himself knew. he passed that friday night <br />

here are the details for the memorial service for Doug Seward.<br />

arm is getting better tennis elbow so bad it hurt to pick up a glass of water (KT strips are the bomb and lettign me heal but also do light work ) got half a sheet of steel layed out and some saw cuts done tho im doing my best not to over work my arm <br />

204p is also great steel like XHP but more edge holding.  the catch is however the sheet is thicker then what i start with on XHP knives.  this may give me the option to do chefs with a different grind style (read 48&quot; hollow grinds )  <br />
anyhow i just thought i woudl update and let you all know i will be testing kitchen knives in it.  the folder i made with 204p has been fantastic]]></content:encoded>

started here in PA went to atlanta to see the aquarium on monday had dinner with an old USMC buddy and his brother (brother is gettign into knife making )<br />
tues morning went to huntville AL picked up the biggest wood lathe i have ever seen and some tooling and hung out with my aunt (i think i get part of my crazy artist genes from her as she is a published quilter adn fabric dyer and wood carver) <br />
woke up wed morn had breakfast and got on...<br />
