Thanks Guys. This wood is so amazing in person. Its Spalted Maple with Tight curl. Pictures just dont do it justice!!

Wish I had more and or could get more of this quality. But its pretty rare to get this great black line spalting on deep tight curly wood.

Also did a new handle shape. Sorta like a "kite" shape I think its called. Where the tol is like a traditional octagon Wa but the bottom of the handle tapers and is rounded. Very comfortable.. Likely wont be the last

Just finished up this 9" Gyuto. HHH Damascus, Rosewood and birch handle, copper fittings.

 

Some resent stuff and some new stuff

 

I am definitely a fan of mosaic Damascus. Nice work, Jr.! (oh, and the finished knives you posted look good too, Randy!)

 

Thanks David! I too love mosaic damascus. Randy Jr. sure does make some nice stuff!! I couldn't be prouder or more happy. To be able to work with him and to be able to cherry pick some amazing bars for my knives.

Just saw that pin stock--really nice!

 

Thanks. I was able to get these made In a few different configurations. I plan to test using them in the blade itself as my makers mark at some point in the future.
But for now, I have just used them as a center pin.
