  2. Hello and thank you for the warm welcome. I am a long time fan of sharp things of all sorts. I have recently been sporadically buying old japanese kitchen knives and trying to bring them back to sharp. Some are in worse shape than I had expected with deep putting and edge chips, but some have sharpened beautifully. I am particularly fond of yanagibas and usubas (spelling uncertain).
