    Welcome to the Fora!

  6. Hi folks! You guys are a welcoming bunch. :)

Not sure what to say by way of introduction, except that I have liked knives my whole life. My current fascinations are super steels and whetstone sharpening. Here's hoping I don't give myself carpal tunnel syndrome. Cheers!

  7. Welcome! Not to many folks here are using super steels. Very hard on belts and hands.

  8. I've noticed! Been following your work for a little while now @Pennman88 --very impressive!

Cool, welcome to the forum. I think you will find most of us share similar interest in super steels and stones. What stones are you using?

  11. For the past year, I have been using King 1K and King 6K stones. I recently started playing with a Gesshin 1200, and a Spyderco Ultrafine ceramic slab. I have a couple of hard knives (R2/SG2 and ZDP) that need thinning so I just put in an order for a Gesshin 220 and Gesshin 600. Fun stuff!
