  11. Dear all, I have just found this thread and I am happy to see all your warm welcomes. I am 51 years old and live near Solingen in Germany. I love food and cooking and have bought my first knives when I went to university. I started off with Zwilling and Wüsthoff knives that served me very well over the years. One day about 10 years ago I bought my first Güde Alpha Olive knife and I started my small collection back then. In 2010 I started a small online business selling German hand tools and two years ago I started a second shop selling Güde knives and Boos Blocks. I happened to be introduced to Dr. Peter Born (owner of Güde) and things developed.
