Store closure from August 20th to 25th (online store will remain open)

Japanese Knife Imports will be closed from Thursday, August 20th to Tuesday, August 25th for a series of special events. We would love for you to join us in these events.



The first event is on Friday, August 21st. We will be hosting a dento kougei-shi sharpener from Sakai at our store. He will be talking about Sakai Uchihamono and demonstrating Sakai’s style of knife sharpening. Click here for more info:

Tickets are free, but the number of spaces is limited, due to the size of our store. Act quick while we still have them.



From Sunday, August 23rd to Tuesday, August 25th, we will be representing Gesshin Hide and the Gesshin Hide craftsmen at the Western Foodservice and Hospitality Expo at the LA Convention center. We have access to complimentary tickets for our customers, so if you are interested, please let us know (e-mail us atJon@JapaneseKnifeImports.com).



During this entire time, our storefront will be closed, but our online store will remain open and we will continue to ship as usual. Sharpening service may be delayed, but we will do our best to keep up with it.
