Saji R2 wa-gyuto or santoku, any experience?

Since these seem to be early days, I don't know if I'll get much of a response, but I'm curious if anyone's got experience with Saji's R2 wa-gyuto or santoku. The damascus is pretty heavily etched, with a very cool (imo) texture, which seems like it'd be good for food release.

I've got a little experience with Asai and Takamura, and a lot of people are somewhat familiar with Tanaka, but Saji doesn't seem to get much mention.

FWIW, here's the page I'm looking at (no affiliation with vendor): http://knife-gallery.com/?pid=61095057

Also a video from the vendor on YouTube:

I probably won't be picking it up, but thought I'd ask if anyone's got opinions. Thanks!

I cant directly help you either, but if you do go ahead with it at some point, you will certainly have to come back and give us some thoughts on it as you wqill become the residing expert on the blade if no one else has had the chance
