    a 240mm gyuto, sanmai .
    145sc and XC10


    the steel , 145sc :

    welded with XC10, tang is out with hammer :

    the next step go fast...can't take pics....
    here, the blade is forged, shape is grinded

    next step: cold forging ....quenching. .... etc etc :D

  3. Nice to see the process! Especially when you go from the first pic to the last. Impressive to see an apparently basic piece of metal being transformed into a nice blade.
