Somewhere on the groaning wall rack is five Chinese choppers and there`s about another twenty knives on the windowsill.

That`s because my girlfriend and I collect knives and have been cooking since the early seventies.
I have no space anywhere to store kitchen gear.My drawers are chocka too.

I have a tiny kitchen and I love cooking and in fifty years I seemed to have acquired a few knives.
I have no bench space, drawer space, cupboard space or wall space so I had to compromise.

I got a guy in Lincoln, England to make me custom oak kitchen utensil boxes which I love.
The one on the left is the new one and was only $25 on Etsy.

The rest of the knives are on the windowsill and hung on the wall.

I like big rectangle Asian choppers like Chinese caidao`s, guydao`s, nakiri`s and bone cleavers.
My girlfriend likes fancy specialist Japanese artisan knives - as long as they`re stainless haha!

It`s just like putting pens and pencils in a coffee mug.
It`s better than throwing them in a drawer!
