Meat butcher cleaver recs

Discussion in 'The Kitchen Knife' started by mano, Jun 19, 2016.

  1. Looking for a basic 6 to 9 inch cleaver to cut through bones. Cheap and utilitarian. Had a beatty and sons that was too big and heavy.

New or used and steel not a big factor
    Will see infrequent use

You could try these SHIKI Choppers released by JCK. They appear to fit your requirements. They are the right size, not a monsters, made in decent steels, fairly inexpensive, and as a bonus have nice handles.

  4. You can choose Utopia Kitchen 7 Inch Stainless Steel Chopper. It is the best budget cleaver for both home and professional usage.
