Every year on October 19th at our sister site Badger & Blade we do an auction to support the NBCF.
We do this in honor of Sue Moore, a very dear friend of Badger & Blade who passed away due to breast cancer in 2010.

To support this auction we rely on our members and vendors to donate items.
100% of the proceeds go directly to the NBCF

We would like to extend this invitation to support the cause to the fantastic members of the KKFora​

although we have yet to auction of a kitchen sink....

we have had everything from rice to NBA tickets. it's s big event and great fun to watch the whole thing go down

 

Last year was my first time participating, it was great fun and a huge amount was raised for such a worthy cause!!

Following the action is great fun. There is typically a lot of banter and friendly competitions

 

This auction is something I look forward to every year.
I love to donate to it and I love to buy from it even more.
The 1st year I got an awesome Walnut cutting board. I can't even remember the 2nd year, probably because I was outbid on everything.
Last year an incredible vintage travel razor and grooming set.
There are things that are auctioned that you just can't find anywhere else.
I hope I can get back to the shop soon enough to create something special for this year's event.

I just got a Gold Dollar in the mail I'll be reshaping and rehandling if I can get time before the deadline.

I've been working on it since I posted...lol. What's the point in being your own boss if you can't make your own schedule?? Doesn't look much like a Gold Dollar anymore!

I'll get some scales on it here shortly...hone it up...and it'll be ready to go!
