Hmmmm....that's in a category other than "suck." I saw them in Little Rock in the 90's...3rd best live show I've ever seen. Johnny Cash was unquestionably #1 (24th birthday present from my ex-wife)...I think Pearl Jam's freshman album was #2, such an honest and simple album and show.

We get good ones , last year we had Springsteen , with 6 chefs , 3 apprentices and 6 dishwashers we served more than 1700 people from 2 tiny kitchens in 2 days

Do they get to meet the band?
I've heard of that now that I think of it. You pay for dinner and a meet and greet

  12. Wait a minute you need a sous Mert? If I only wasn't weighed down by the responsibility of a family and a mortgage id be there in a heart beat!

Working at a winery with a chef who is a knifenut.... Damn that would be good.
I'll tell the wife and kids to start packing ;)

Mortgage is overrated :D I allow my chefs to sharpen at work , I even provide stones , anyone who does a year with me gets a knife from me , you get %50 on wine , beer or dining , what else do you want ? You just have to put up with a grumpy guy that is stuck in his ways :p

  15. You mean a chef? ;)

Honestly though I wish I could. Just too many commitments here in qld :/
