Is there a time limit to edit/delete a post?

I saw a spelling error in a post I made about 30-45 min. ago, and I've lost the ability to edit/delete it. I checked other posts I made and have lost it there too. There is no box to click, just the report remains.

Is this by design, or is it something that needs tweaking ?

 

Sounds like the way the last forum was set up as well. I suspect that 'feature' is here to stay.

 

The edit function is available for 30 minutes after the post is made.

I do all the time, unless someone quotes me and makes it to late.

 

It takes me longer to edit a post than to write it.

 

Lol for my important ones on another site I have me a Larry, and this Larry used to be a copy write editor, he can skim the whole thing at a lightnings pace and do it for me,... Here, Im on my own, and thus probably in the same boat Spaz. But that's okay, Ill bring rods, we can fish

LOL, I'll just have to double check before posting, although I still tend to miss things. Or, I can just let it be, like James or blame it on auto correct

I think Jim is the only one who can edit after the fact and he has enough on his plate.
