I took photography in highschool...

    That couldn't have been 40 years ago, right?

    I am working on my photo table today and working to relearn all of the photography techniques I have forgotten.
    The table is built on large rolling butcher block. I'm working on getting the lighting right. It will probably take some fiddling. :) Any advice is greatly appreciated from the photo-pros here.

    First stab with some basic lighting.

    Looks good to me. I don't know much about photography, so I can only suggest you keep in mind what you're trying to show as well as what you're not trying to show.
