I've been known to partake of a cigar or two as well.

One day was all it took for us to take over LOL.

I smoke a pipe mostly, but have been known to enjoy a cigar or two occasionally.

I have a humidor I don't know how to use full of cigars that I don't have time to smoke. Does that count? Maybe I will make time when it gets warmer.

I picked up a Petersons 221, and bought a couple hunks of 150 year old briar to make a couple more... I think I may need therapy!

Nah.... you're normal here. Do you have any pics of the pipes? Sure would like to see the progress as you shape the briars.

I got a pipe, or 7 although this years winter has put a wedge between us. Its been tough finding outdoor time with the smoke, amd I do miss it

Pierre, when you make a pipe, I'm in.

Oh, and I'm a cigar guy, myself. Mostly when it's a nice summer night, or I'm golfing. I have a strange feeling I might find more excuses to smoke pretty soon. Haha

Not too picky. Normally wooden matches, though.

im more of a cigar guy, but do also own a few pipes and a small little pipe tobacco stash. I actually just got a box of Surrogate Animal Crackers in the mail today, and have a couple other boxes of unmentionable cigars in transit

You do need therapy, it's called "pipe carving", followed by "pipe smoking". That'll sort you right out. I can't wait to see what you do with those briar blocks.

I had to get old and crotchety first. Like James' cat.

I had a Dr. Grabow pipe and stuff but gave it to a coworker. I've been tobacco free for five months. But I miss it. SOooo... I'm carving two pipes haha! :D

Pipe Carving is what somebody who has a clue does. I will attempt to make something that resembles a pipe! lol! whether I carve or grind, remains to be seen. I will have to find a way to cheat of course.

A belt sander is your best friend on briar.

Got that covered, got a 2 x 72, powered by a 3HP 3phase on a VFD. One way or another it should be over quick!
