To quote Dave on another site...

"I'm going to be on the late end of my estimate for the Performance Package only knives but will hopefully be early for the Perf pack w/handle upgrades.

My plan, at the moment, is to do Connie's knives (these are full jobs w/handles) first (I promised her when she ordered as she was the first order(s) in) and then go back to the Perf Pack knives to get them in under my original estimate.

What I'm working on now is other Hiromoto AS knives sent in that have been here waiting in line. I've got just about a half dozen to go and then it's onto the B&B knives. I'll keep you all informed."

So yes, your knife will be finished and shipped before mine but that doesn't mean it won't get held up in Canadian Customs for a month of three :p

I have some lovely blue dyed buckeye burls and also a blue dyed maple block that will make some lovely handles.

Santoku looks superb. Either Dave or Erilyn, could you please let me know if edge length or tip to heel on Santoku is actually 190mm or more?

The 190mm santoku actually measures 185mm from heal to tip.
