10" Forgecraft chef's knife that's been thinned (a ton!), spine/choil rounded, and converted to accept a wa handle. This one is headed out to JKI to get a burnt chestnut handle installed, should come out real good. [IMG]

  2. Nicely done, Dave!
I've been slowly learning the basics of using grinder with a very similar Forgecraft knife lately. While results that I got looks nowhere near as nice as yours, the cutting performance is very promising. I noticed that the blade is very reactive, so I wonder whether it would make any sense to etch it in order to reduce reactivity.
