    Yes...I was wearing safety glasses instead of my shield....Had a chunk hit the respirator, bounce off the back of the glasses into my eye...And immediately got infected.

    Yikes! :eek:

    I don't wear a shield either, I can't stand those things. I've had a lot of things fly under my glasses over the years and I guess that I've just been lucky not to get hit in the eye.
