I like tasteful bling and a pin.

  2. I'm a Shinogi/D-handle fan personally.

The Shigefusa handle is perfect for me at:

    Length: 145mm
Height at Butt (need to measure front also): ~27.5
Width at Butt (need to measure front also): ~22.5

  3. Butch always does it clean and right.

Lots of personal preferences, but I am more comfortable with slightly larger handles. Slight taper is fine . Just over or under 24 mm tall and 19.75 to 22.2.wide according to my favorite sized burnt chestnut Yoshikane and my larger Catchside. Stiff old hands maybe. Ironically for me, they have no bling.

Let's keep it simple. Look at a DT ITK, and copy it. Best wa handle in the business.

If you want a touch of bling, and have big mitts, go for my other fave, Butch Harner.
