Cesar Cruz's 95mm W2 Honyaki Paring Knife

Discussion in 'CJA Edged Art / Scorpion Forge' started by CrisAnderson27, Sep 17, 2015.

  1. This little knife was a 'stock' purchase from Facebook. In talking with Cesar, we determined that he wanted an unusual handle for his knife. Something classy but still outspoken. He requested the dual taper handle as well...along with a leather saya (smallest I've made to date!). This was a great little knife to make, and I think it turned out wonderfully myself. The blade on this one is really clean with what I consider the perfect paring knife grind (thin, but still stiff, with great taper), but the handle is what I think makes this little knife stand out!

Steel - AISI W2 from Aldo at New Jersey Steel Baron

Handle - Stabilized Norfolk pine with copper liners.

    On to the pictures!
