260mm Nilox gyuto

Discussion in 'Tristone Bladesmithing' started by Chadd Smith, Apr 15, 2016.

  1. G'day all, this is one of the most recent orders I have been working on. Requested specs were met and the grind changed ever so slightly which has improved performance even more.

260mm long Nilox blade at 62hrc
    56mm tall
    Triple temper/cryo
Tapered octagonal was handle, 25mm high at the neck.
Dyed blue burl and dimpled nickle silver spacers.
Mirror polished, rounded spine and choil.

    Thanks for looking,

    Chadd

Another great looking knife, nice one.

  5. Thanks Mick, she is definately a colourful one. I have not made one with dimpled spacers in the past.

    Cheers Brother.

Thanks, new design features in this one which is nice to try out.

Thanks for the comments guys, made as per the customers specs and I think it came up a treat. Bigger all round than my usual knives, but felt like you would never loose grip of it :D

    Regards,
    Chadd
