  1. I made a felt lined, friction fit Ringed Gidgee Saya for Mikes knife. This was the first time I have made one of these and I think they are a bit fancy. This Saya does not have a pin due to Mike's request as he has a penchant for miss placing them :p

It will be in the mail today so hopefully he has it in a week or so!

    Thanks for looking,

    Chadd.

  2. I like the felt lining. I might try that on the next saya i make. Did you just glue it in?

  3. Yes, I used a spay on fabric and wood adhesive from Lindcraft. My old man uses it for wooden wedding boxes he makes when he Lines them with felt. I wanted to felt lining so the wood would not scuff the hand finish on the blade. Just be mindful of keeping the felt bone dry if you are putting carbon steel blades in. You may have issues.

  4. I literally am getting a second Christmas with this coming in the mail. I'm soooo excited!! Really really happy I went with Chadd for my first custom =)

  5. Yeah. I'll have to remember that. Though next ones are for stainless knives so that is ok

  6. Very fancy indeed mate. Looking good.
