we are selling the house down sizing and building a bigger shop. that said we will be waiting out insane lumber prices. that puts my took a loss last year knife making job into i will get a real gig for at least as long as it takes to build a new workshop. cant see a new shop happening till at least next summer. will hopefuly have a small shop set up with the most used tools as a stop gap but time will tell what kind of output i might have. the market has not been kind th last few years and i have seen its ups and downs. i have no plans on hanging up the maker in me but for a whille at least it loooks liek its goig to be a side gig

Good luck to you! We'll keep you in our thoughts--your little paring knife is our go-to for dividing up steaks and chops (we don't get whole ones anymore) and we send good wishes to you every time we use it.

guess i coudl have updated this sooner but we are moved and i have a temp shop space btu not all my tools most notably is my kiln (im ordering a new one). while the game plan had been build the shop first then fix up the house we are flipping that due to what can be done on the timeline like replace the roof while we log out the space for the shop. and since th eroof is getting done and we want a porch out front that means pouring all the concrete pads. if weather stopps the pads and porch build then it will be start gutting the house room by room. plenty to keeep me hopping
