    I think this handsome pair belongs here as well. Ian is kicking out some fantastic work. It's been enjoyable watching him come into stride the past couple years.

  13. Ian does very nice work, although Damascus is not really my thing. I love the modern look of a lot of his knives.
     
  14. The design of this knife was created in the previous century in Russia. But this is a modern knife that represents the core ideas of the design: stupidly heavy and thick heel part for chopping bones and thin tip for fine work.

    This beast has 88mm height near the heel.
    345mm length and 7.8mm thick in the spine.
    Made from Х12М (similar to D2). Stabilized curly birch on the handle. Russian maker Damir.

  16. Yeah. Since there are obviously way too many lobsters in Russia, we got to come up with something substantial to deal with them quickly :)
