Wa handle

Discussion in 'The Kitchen Knife' started by Shannon Postle, Sep 2, 2017.

  1. Hey guys
How are you knife makers make D shape wa handles? Do you have a jig or sanding it to shape free hand?

  2. The few I've done were free hand.

I usually cut the exterior angle first with my disk sander, then free hand the rest. Having then angled portion cut helps keep everything in line.
