Well, I've been pulled in from that other forum which has basically become my Internet home base. I guess this will be the home base's kitchen, then? lol

So, I'll give the brief version here... I did some official schooling for baking, and have always been very much into home cooking as a hobby, did some restaurant work back in my youth, but realized I really just liked to keep it to the lower stress versions at home. So I end up dabbling in a bit of everything in the kitchen, up to and including cake decorating once in a rare while now if a good friend or family member asks nicely enough. lol

lol I don't think they travel all that well, especially the decorated kind. If you make it out my way, though, I'll be sure to have cake on the menu. :thumb

Ha! How about a complete cake menu... start with like crab cakes, then meatloaf (which is really just meat cake), broccoli and cheese mashed potato cakes, then dessert cakes of some type.

I should warn you ahead... I've not yet managed to really make a good meatloaf. All my previous attempts failed at being up to my own standards, and a few failed to even be up to my cat's standards as well. lol

lol I'll update you once I get it narrowed down to where the results are consistently good. The one the cat wouldn't eat? Yeah, I was trying to use shredded carrots in the mixture... huge ball of fail. Not all my cooking experiments work out... btw, do not try to do a "spam curry"... trust me on that one.

Agreed, I'll revisit it soon enough. I'm on a current Asian/Indian flavors kick right now.

I actually add two carrots and a potato to my meatloaf. The secret is b-b-b-bacon!

Just have reverse dinner. Forget the meatloaf and just have cake!

    And, welcome, by the way!
