When life hands you lemons

  1. Hi,

I recently moved to a new place, and I now have a lemon and lime trees. What should I do with excessive produce?

So lucky ! When I lived in Florida, I froze them whole. Made great juice when thawed, easy enough to grate frozen. We had a lot of orange and lime juice in the freezer too.

  4. That's interesting. What did you keep them in? Do I just wash and freeze? And did you let them completely thaw before use?

We froze them in Zip lock bags after washing. You can grate them frozen. Juiced them thawed as needed, but we put up ALOT of juice frozen for screwdrivers etc.

  6. Wouldn't mind one or three :)

Freeze them whole in ziploc bags, then nuke 'em and juice 'em as needed.
