Whew, somehow confirming my account was a little more trouble than I anticipated

Anyway, hi everyone! I've been lurking around the fora for a while and finally decided to come out into the light!

Currently living in Austin, Texas, though I'm originally from California. Not a pro by any stretch of the imagination, but I love cooking at home and I love knives. Once I took the plunge last year to buy my first real jknife (a kono HD2 gyuto), it's all been downhill from there... Don't ask me how much I've spent in the last few months

But looking forward to learning a lot and getting to connect with a lot of the awesome craftsmen on the fora!
