Just a few words about myself:
I am a self taught knife maker from central France.
I used to be a stone macon on cathedral worksites, and came to forging by making my stone carving tools.
I am interested in making my own sanmai and nimai using the cleanest carbon steels, and soft steels, sometimes filched from cathedral sites My aim is to make the finest cutting tools, using rigourous quenching techniques and Japanese stone polishing.
