I just bought a VacMaster Pro 260 on eBay for $100, NIB. I want to use it for both Sous Vide and freezing. Will I be happy with it? I've mostly been using Ziplocs and straws, but I recently borrowed a cheap FoodSaver from a family member, and I've liked how much air even the cheapo unit gets out of meat bags. I can't imagine this won't be better...

Yeah, you'll be plenty happy. Might still want to upgrade to a chamber unit at some point, but the edge sealers will meet most of your needs....esp at that price point. :)

I'm guessing you already know about freezing liquids in a cube tray trick Jacob?
