Toolex "Shopsmith" Opinions

I have come across a virtually unused Toolex Shop Smith clone. To make it even more appealing, it is local, and can be mine for a very good price. Has anyone here used one, or the real Shop Smith V? I think this piece of equipment could really open up a lot of options, from Boards, to stands, to better/more consistent sayas, handles and brushes.

Any opinions, guys? Marko, I believe you had one for a while, am I correct?

    Thanks!

My dad has one that I always use when I visit. Its a well built machine and great if you do not have a ton of space. Personally I would rather have separate machines so I dont have to mess around with all the adjusting. Its a PITA to have to go from bandsaw to drill to lathe then back to bandsaw. I spend alot of my time on it switching attachments.

However, it is very well built, my dads is probably 20+ years old and has never had any issues...he uses it frequently

Awesome, Matt. Thanks! At $250, do you think it's worth it, in virtually new shape (some minor rust)?

At 250.00? Not much of a risk, go for it.
