shipping an oven to the UK

I have a friend in the UK who is interested in an EvenHeat oven which is not available there. The item in question is 104 pounds shipping weight. any recommendations on getting one to him?

Are they the Evenheat kilns? I was reading about knife kilns on a forum a while ago out of curiosity, I remember reading that Evenheat had an EU distributor for certain models, I will try and find the forum post and see if that helps you

I don't know why but the importers price is more than twice that of the same oven here and that is before they add on all their UK duties and VAT and taxes and such. . shipping is steep at about $400 to $700 or more depending, but even with that, VAT, customs it will likely come out several hundred dollars cheaper than going through the EU stockers.
