Pics and video clips of some Japanese blacksmiths

Discussion in 'The Kitchen Knife' started by limpet, Aug 14, 2015.

  1. The Swedish knife store Cleancut has put up some pictures & video clips of some Japanese blacksmiths (Shiro Kamo, Hiroshi Kato, Shigeki Tanaka, Haruma, Takamura and Yu Kurosaki). Too good not to share! [IMG]

    Here's the link: http://www.cleancut.se/meet-our-blacksmiths

Some video clips have a strange error message on the thumbnail, but just click on it and it will work anyway.

Edit: I really like the pics of Shiro Kamo hammering two blades at once. He has said it's easier to keep the correct temperature this way.

  2. They were quite interesting so i watched them all... And then i couldn't resist and started lookin' at the knives... :)
Is there any way to set the website to english? Was thinkin' about buying something but swedish is not very good. :D

  3. Their website is built for Swedish customers but I know of people in Europe who have set up purchases via e-mail. Send an e-mail to them and ask if they will be able to deliver to your country. They speak English. Their contact page with e-mail address: http://www.cleancut.se/om-oss

Also, check out these threads on the other KKF. MrOli has made a few purchases from them.
