So I have been putting this together for a bit now. Some of you have seen it in other places. I am adding the pictures as I go along, and thought I would share here as well.

So here, the components have been disassembled. I made a form that matched the contours of the curved end, and used a piece of stove pipe to get the adjust ability in size selecting for the interior. The refractory I selected is rated to 3200F

    More to follow.

Poor quality video of the burner test. It was at 7 pounds pressure, so 3.5 pounds per burner. This set up is capable of 750K BTU

The cardboard serves two fold. One to hide how messy my shop is, and two, to keep things exciting! There is nothing like the thrill of hammering hot steel, then running to look for a fire extinguisher! Hahaha!

    Lefty would be proud!
