Insanely thick Theater made? Cleaver

    That's a chunk of steel for sure. Looks like a good ole meat cleaver. I have seen plenty of cleavers like it, but I lean towards a Beatty.

    part of me really thinks i need to come up with a meat cleaver option with moderen steel (or really eve old school would work ) do a small batch and run with it

    I keep thinking it may be a shop made lambsplitter or a regrind of another big splitter. The handle is where it gets really odd.

    You should put that lathe to use and turn a Beatty style handle for it.
