Harner III vs LR Harner?

This may be a silly question, but I was curious about it. So no one's been able to answer this for me yet. Granted, I haven't asked that many people.

What's the difference between knives that Butch stamps as Harner III versus L.R. Harner? We're assuming the latter is newer? Or custom versus mid tech?

seems the former is newer, going by Butch's photos.

I asked him, and he confirmed that the III is the newer as of this year.

 

yep Harner III is when i moved to my new addy an after 8 years of using L R Harner i thouhgt it was a good time for a change and to help date knives i made. there is also a mark i have that is not as often seen that is L R H and that marks projects that i didnt finish (blade blanks fully finished but not handled ) there are 2 sizes of mark in each of the styles also.
