Hey guys and gals. This project has been fun and the resulting knife is going to be a exceptional cutter.

So here it is. Mystery steel Nakiri.

    Specs.

    170mm Blade
    305mm Overall length
    Ironwood burl handle.
    Stainless steel Pins

    Blade specs are as follow.
    175mm on the edge
    63mm tall at heel
2.52mm spine thickness, tapering to 1.32mm thick spine at the front or the blade.
Rounded spine and relieved choil. Blade finish, satin

Grind is what I am most happy about on this one. Its asymmetric ground, has distal taper throughout the length of the blade. And well.... I will post a few pictures that sorta show the convexity and bevels. But until ya have it in hand. And make some cuts. Its hard to really "see"

    Handle details.
Full tang Western Handle with mechanical fasteners. in stainless. single HHH Mosaic pin. also stainless.
Wood is a dark Ironwood. This does have BURL figure. However its very hard to show in a photo, Both due to color as well as that the finish on the handle..
Highly contoured for a amazingly comfortable grip.

    Weight. 8.5 ounces.
Balance point is 1/2" in front of the handle.

STEEL TYPE??? What I do know is that the HRC is 62 and from my testing. Its either stainless or semi stainless. I do know its gona be a great cutter! [IMG]

Price for this one is $600.00 + shipping.. I prefer PayPal as payment and I ship USPS priority mail unless otherwise requested.

Did I mention this thing cuts like a laser?? [IMG]

Thanks for lookin any questions please ask or PM me.

    Blessings
    Randy

Marc If you buy it and request the makers mark. I will add it.

The Mosaic pin in the handle is the identifying mark asd of now. But again. I dont mind adding a mark per client request.
