AEBL and Manzanita Burl Nakiri 153 by 50

Discussion in 'Brock Cutlery' started by Mark Brock, Jun 10, 2017.

  1. It's been a while for me, but I've finally found some time to finish a knife.
This nakiri is AEBL hardened to 63.
Very nice little veggie knife! Convex grind thinned to .004 behind the edge before sharpening.
It has a full distal taper as pictured. Spine is 2.3mm above the heel.
Balance is .25 inch in front of the heel.
Very nimble knife while still feeling substantial.

Stabilized manzanita burl split with silver ingot spacer. Belt finish to 600 and light buff.
Note, manzanita often shows slight inclusions or cracks, and this one is no exception.
Sometimes it's the price paid for a beautiful piece of wood.
Handle guaranteed to hold up as long as I am making knives.
It has been stabilized by K&G.

Asking $225 plus actual shipping. Paypal ok.

    Thanks for having a look.
