4.5" Wa Petty

  1. Now for the Wa Petty w/Shinogi

    Steel: W2/1018 sanmai laminate. @64-65RC at the core
    OAL: 9.5"
    Blade length: 4.5"
    Width: Just over 1"
    Thickness @ Heel: .110" with a shinogi halfway down.

    Handle is made up of stabilized Koa, Maple, and a thick chunk of anodized Titanium.

    Saya is 3 piece curly maple with walnut for contrast, and an anodized Ti keeper pin.

    Bevel set with Nubatama synthetic stones, followed by an Ohira Tomae, and ended with a Nakayama Tomae.
