2nd kitchen set made

Discussion in 'Handiwork Display' started by JaredLou, Dec 15, 2016.

  1. I made set for my future sister in law for xmas.

Didn't quite come out as I planned, but I'm getting better at grinding thin knives. Sweeping full flat grind with no plunge lines.

Blades is 52100 and handles are box elder burl.

Chef is 8" and paring is 4.25" blade length.

  3. It's hair popping sharp off a shapton glass 2000 stone.

Would like test a knife with the 36" or 72" diameter platens I machined next time.
