Happy to say this is gaining some traction this year. There are a handful of DC chefs that have not attended before who are interested in coming. And Butch will have some other knifemakers to talk shop with, as there may be as many as 5 at the event. Plus here are a few people in the DC region who are new to the forums and want to attend.

Still gauging interest for a dinner on July 23. It's too late to book a group in DC but am looking at an Italian restaurant right off 395 in Shirlington.

It would be great to see Dekker again. I think there will be a lot of interesting knives around this year.

Bummer -- it's always nice having him attend. There may be a couple new Makers in attendance this year, so more people you can talk shop with. And some new faces among the pro/ home cooks.

There were a couple dozen great videos posted on IG by jul3stools. I have a dozen or so photos, but mainly from when the event was only half full -- so not nearly the overall amount of knives we wound up seeing.
