Just a couple of 5lb chickens in brine

    Couple of 5lb or so whole chickens brining overnight in the fridge. Did about 1/2 cup kosher salt, 1/4 cup or so of brown sugar, some minced garlic, pepper, and a couple bay leaves. I'm not convinced the bay leaves do anything but...whatever :D

    Will probably be about 18ish hrs before I put them on the pellet grill. Spatchcock at 300f. Of course with some nice bbq rub on them. First time doing the spatchcock method so hopefully they turn out. I don't expect any issues.
