Show your Sayas

  1. These were going to be posted to the other place, but with things the way they are, I'll posting them here instead.

    My first two (successful) attempts at making sayas. The top one is Bolivian Rosewood for my Fellipi 250 k-tip. The bottom is walnut for my Shinkiro Damascus AS 210mm k-tip. The pins are walnut dowel that I sanded down to the hole size.

  6. Thanks, I'm really pleased with out they turned out! Definitely took my trial and error, but in the end I was successful with a palm router and some sandpaper. I'm going to try some more for a few other knives. Just received a 24"x3"x3/16" piece of wenge that I hope will become at least two nakiri sayas.
