Oh boy! IDK what I'll be having this weekend. I'm going to MO to some friends house and won't be in charge of the BBQ. But I did tell them we are going to an actual butcher shop to get our meat this weekend.

What do you call that? Just a brisket? Cause I see stuff labeled Pork Shoulder and Pork Butt and chuck roast and round roast with and without the bone, but IDK if that's what is typical used for smoking like pulled pork and brisket.

Pulled pork is usually pork butt also called a pork shoulder.
Brisket is just that cut of beef.
    Enjoy your trip JJ.

Nice to see 4 ribs -- always a challenge to find one that hasn't been sawn down to just 2 ribs.

My first time doing a pork butt. Started it about 9:30am. Pulled it off about 5pm. Let it rest for just a half hour cause we were hungry! Turned out pretty good I'd say! Probably could be better though. For example - I want that crispy bark which this didn't have. I guess maybe use a lot more rub next time. And oh yeah....totally forgot about the coleslaw! would have loved to put some on the sandwich.

I had it custom cut from a local butcher shop exactly because of this
