    Butch, I'm not a cleaver guy, but that one makes me wanna be one!
    Could you describe/explain a little bit about the profile. Looks like the back part is almost but not quite flat, and then it's got a bit of curve at the front, which seems more common on nakiris, though sometimes pictures can distort things like that. I'd be curious to hear more about the profile, and how you've come to this design in terms of how it's used.

    the heel comes up ever so slightly more so to help with not sticking the heel into the board if not quite a perfect push cut is made as for the tip i rounde it up on both my nakiri and this semi cleaver for much the same reason as the heel but also to alow a little more versatility in the kind of cuts that can be made

    rose wood cracked on the nakiri so im replacing with stablized redwood lace if all goes well i will be posting alot of new stuff tomorrow (2 scalpels a line knife and i hope the rebuilt nakiri )
