Mustard, soy sauce, evoo, garlic, S&P, lemon juice, & oregano. (I know rosemary is classic, but I like oregano with lamb.) And a few bread crumbs. Had some baked sweet potato & salad with the lamb. It was pretty good.

I have a couple of locally caught crayfish (southern rock lobsters) to play with this week, near Christmas the price goes crazy, but I can't resist when they are such good quality. These guys were around 3kg each (6 1/2 lbs)

  5. Bloody Aussies... Even our crayfish can't survive a summer's day without a beer

Yeah, I took a pic of just the Crays in the box, and with nothing for scale it was hard to show the size, I figured most people can relate to a beer bottle haha

I remembered that misono from a visit last year. You must be gearing up to that busy period again. Wish you all the best, now with two hats in your back pocket. It's going to be a while before my two months' old will be able to tolerate a long drive down that way again.

A simple dinner after a long day out to a family fun day at Coogee beach. My son loves the peppa pig show there, singing, dancing, little pig. Summer is definitely here. It was hot, and there were a lot of people on the beach and in the water.

A pork-red-wine-pearl-barley risotto and a fresh home baked sourdough.

  16. chefcomesback, that looks awesome!

Not cooking a particular dish or meal today, but thought it was time to caramelize a mess (meaning a 10-lb sack of jumbo yellows from Costco) of onions because my stash was running low.

Just a couple of hanger steaks on griddle with salad and bread for lunch.
