Holiday in Thailand.

    Hello everybody. I am going to Thailand next month. My girlfriend and me will spend three days in Bangkok, 9 days in Phuket (Phatong area) and 2 days on Phi Phi islands. So my question is: Is there anything worth bringing back from Thailand? Some special spices? Or maybe you know some kind of food I should definitely try? Maybe pubs worth visiting?

    Spent a few days in Phuket many years ago. All I did was eat and drink, so not much help to you. A great place, not as grown up as Bangkok.

    Red Duck restaurant in the Kato area (10-15 mins ride on tuk-tuk/bus/bike from Phatong) area worth visiting. Their owner and food are really nice.

    Lots of food in Bangkok really and frankly speaking 3 days isn't nearly enough. One thing I always end up craving for more is their coconut ice cream which you can get at chatuchak weekend market.
