I'm sure we have some firearms enthusiasts here! Right?

I'd like to share some pictures from the guys trip to Michigan back in September. Another friend of mine has lots of family in Michigan and one of his cousins supplied all the weaponry. Everything from .22 rifles to Glock 17, 5.56 rifle, 12ga shotgun, .45acp,....several others I can't remember.

I have been hooked on firearms since that day. It was thrilling!

This is a good shot down the range. The furthest target was around 100 yards.

we went through at least 1500 rounds of various caliber

And then finished the day with some cold brews around the fire.

  2. Save your brass. Freedom Munitions has a brass trade in program. They do reloads and new ammo. There's hardly any price difference so I always just get their new stuff instead of the reloads. You just mail it to them in ziplocs placed in a flat rate box. You place an order and they will credit your order upon receiving the spent brass. I just placed an order the other day for some 10mm. Picked up a new Glock 20 that I have to feed.

Good tip on the brass and Freedom Munitions. I didn't know that.

I took a CCW class since this outing and we covered stance and posture.
I just cracked up at myself in these pictures.

  5. Butch, they just pay you for the brass you turn in. You are buying loaded ammo when your order for them. They eventually use the brass that you turned in for the reloads once the separate and clean it.

  7. I shoot single shots now so I never loose brass :) The others don't use brass cases so no worries there :)
