    We've had an onslaught of our robins lately, stripping the crabapple tree. I don't know what triggers them. The trees will be covered with what seems to be ripe fruit for weeks, then all of a sudden the robins arrive en masse and strip the trees.

    I find them to be really creepy birds--they give you the stink eye and you just know if you trip and fall in the yard they'll peck your eyes out.

    I like your robins better. (And your photos are amazing!)

    Well Done Warren. assuming a fairly high shutter speed then? that converter must be the business. hard to find a good one.
     
  4. Thanks Mike! The second set of Robin pics with the dark background were shot at 1/250s, f/5.6, iso 800.
    The converter is a Nikon TC-14E, seems to be a great combo with the lens
