    Jim how do you feel about the differences in feel of the western style handles and the octagonal ones ?, do you have a preference as far as comfort and grip or just used to both it doesnt really factor anymore

    those are beautiful knives btw, stunning

    Thanks Guys! James the pinch grip really changes the game, I much prefer the Wa or as you mentioned octagonal handles.

    The only thing I hold like a pistol is my big slicers with western handles.

    You just need to try them to see how it feels, the biggest difference is the weight of the knife is "out front" something I greatly prefer.

    I have one knife that has a wa, and it was a gift from a chef friend of mine, and now i prefer them to the western handles.
